Yet anther game has joined the banned list in Australia , one of the leading ban hammer slammers in the world concerning games and right up their with super conservative countries like China and even surpassing some "idealistic" countries.Michael Atkinson Australias controversial Attorney General has made himself a very popular guy with the gaming community and is leading the war on "explicit" games.Some banned games include Alien Vs Predator,Dark Sector and the entire GTA series(a censored version was later released for 4).

This attitude towards games is not reflected by all Aussies.We can defend our country and get trained to take a mans life but Im not allowed to play a video game of my choice - an Aussie gamer stated.Say what you will about the USA but this is where I have great respect for them ,no game has ever been banned in the United States due to excessive violence or nudity because of their freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.The problem that is causing this whole problem for the Australian gamers is that Video games in Australia cannot be rated R18+ ,because the rating does not exist down under.I find this ironic since research has indicates that the average age of the Australian video gamer to be 30 years old.
