What happened to warcraft 4? Their was boatloads of hype in 2008 surrounding Warcraft 4 and everything just slowly disappeared into silence. Warcraft 4 largely rumored to have 2 forms of platform gameplay namely 2D and 3D fully compatible with each other. For those who don’t know the whole 2d dynamic idée is based on a large oldschool fanboy base, but this is still left to be proven. “Within the freshest Starcraft 2 panel from BlizzCon 2008 Blizzard proclaims, that Starcraft 2 will be expanded into a trilogy. Furthermore Blizzard verifies, that Warcraft 4 will be released with the same principle.” From warcraft4.net 2008 Its been almost 7 years since the last Warcraft 3 expansion. Within an Interview with the online gamemagazine gamedaily.com, Blizzard’s vice president of game design Rob Pardo, implies that “a new Warcraft RTS will be “one of the ideas on the table after StarCraft 2 ships”. Blizzard being one of the biggest game development companies in the world its really hard for me to believe that they can only bring out almost only one game at a time, but with the World of Warcraft franchise theirs been rapid growth into other mediums outside of the game , like a movie , comics and a host of useless media .Nevermind the bollocks and just bring us the awesomeness that is the warcraft gaming series!
